Siverly Farms California is located in North County San Diego, in the heart of Avocado Country, indeed the 15 freeway is called "The Avocado Highway" in this part of the county! Sunset Magazine describes the climate of this area as follows -

One of the most favored areas in North America for growing subtropical plants, Zone 23 has always been Southern California’s best zone for avocados. Frosts don’t amount to much here, because 85 percent of the time, Pacific Ocean weather dominates; interior air rules only 15 percent of the time.

I ALWAYS have room for family and friends. "The Farm" features an expanding clean / healthy menu, a young but improving wine list, craft beers (One of San Diego's claims to fame), and a cocktail cart.

The Master Bedroom is reserved for this very purpose and is only used for for accommodating guests. It features a new, queen sized memory foam bed, private full bath, WiFi, local TV, Netflix, and Amazon. It's a great place to come unwind for a week or weekend!

And there are lots to keep you busy and having fun! On this farm there's lots of fresh fruit to help yourself to, as well as beautiful trails and back roads to jog, bike, or ride horses (coming soon) and motorcycles. There are many wineries to visit, Hill Top Winery being the closest, just five miles away.  It's thirty minutes to the San Diego Wild Animal Park and forty minutes to Oceanside Pier. There are also two casinos, Valley View and Harrah's, with lots of nightlife and fine dining a few short miles away. Valley Center has a sweet country charm with fruit stands, Farmer's Market, interesting seasonal events, including a Rodeo, Valley Center Days, and a Pumpkin Patch. There's also several nice golf courses in the area, the closest being Woods Valley, less than three miles away.

Donations are happily accepted (but never required or soliciated) - think of it as "go-fund-me-with-benefits". I have a nice room, clean food, and party favors. You relax, have fun, let me fuss over food & chores, and donate whatever works, if you choose. 

 

I'm always happy to help you host a special event - from taking or re-taking vows, a yoga workshop, cooking parties, or special get away with friends - I can help you make arrangements for small groups (8 to 12 people).

 

You should know what The Farm is NOT. It's NOT a luxury spa, there is no pool or hot tub and there is no masseuse on staff.  You will undoubtably hear roosters crow and coyotes howl, and seeing a rattle snake or a bobcat is a very real possibility. The food is good, the drinks are real, the eggs and veggies are fresh, the pies are fresh baked on site, and the fireplace burns real wood from the property - THAT'S our vibe. And, of course, dogs are welcome.....
